Happy Mardi Gras/Pancake day
Firstly we want to give a huge thank you to all the parents that were able to come and help us on the day. We know it’s not always easy to come into school during the week and the support we received was heartwarming.
The children from Reception up to Year 4 came into our ‘Appletree Cafe’, air filled with jazz music playing and they were greeted by parents and staff who were waiting to serve them yummy fresh pancakes.
The highlight of the day was the children’s faces - the look of pure joy and the excitement to lick plates clean was evident!
Year 4 gave us some great feedback:
“The toppings were great”
“Was great that I got mine after swimming”
“I would like pancake day to last two days, not one”
“I need more!!!!”
